    1. This murder mystery was well written However, there were a lot of characters to keep track of which bogged it down in some spots The twist at the end was surprising I also liked that the ending wasn t forced and that there was closure to the story My only real complaint is that I didn t like the font the e book was written in For some reason it really tired out my eyes Other than that it was a really good read.

    2. Murder Half Baked by Kathleen Delaney is the first book I ve read in her Ellen McKenzie Mystery series but, after reading it, I can guarantee you it won t be the last In fact, I ve already ordered another book in the series and I m eager to read it I loved everything about the book and I can t imagine how anyone could possibly rate it less than five stars Great plot, well developed and interesting characters the list goes on and on I highly recommend you read this book

I liked the story, twists and turns, hard to figure out the end, until you get to the end.Murder Half Baked by Kathleen Delaney is anything but a half baked mystery Delaney has the recipe down pat to serve up a mystery that leaves the reader satisfied yet ready for the next installment The heroine, Ellie, could be your next door neighbor if you re lucky Dan, her police chief fianc , is understanding, firm and sensitive Complex love hate relationships the kind we encounter in real life provide am [...]

    7. I really enjoyed this book The characters are likeable well, most of them and interesting and the plot kept my attention Even though it starts out at a shelter for abused women, the story is upbeat When the women move in with Ellen, who s trying to plan her Christmas wedding, one disaster after another happens There s lots of food and the bakery scenes will make your mouth water I d really love to find a Lemon Semolina Cake The writing is smooth and the story flows easily from Ms Delaney s pen I [...]

This book is an entertaining sweet baked goods figure strongly in this story read The setting is Grace House a home for battered women The Bakery employs one of the women, a young woman who is astonishingly gifted at baking The victim is an old curmudgeon of a Doctor who is visiting his wife s grave when he is attacked The story rambles a bit, but is full of vivid descriptions and relationships Some scenes go on a little long She keeps me guessing who is the perpetrator I give it three stars It [...]

    9. There were a couple of grammatical errors in the first couple chapter which was of some concern The rest of the book flowed smoothly The characters were well written and the story managed to include some real world issues that should be of concern to everyone I enjoyed the interaction of the characters with each other and the possibility of several different endings I will read another of her books.

    10. This is such an improvement on Kathleen Delaney s earlier books The cast of characters is well drawn and the plot is tight and believable Ellen, the main protagonist, is no longer an interfering, irritating busybody Kathleen Delaney has learned to weave the required information into the story in a natural manner rather than staging artificial situations where Ellen interrogates her suspects This was a very enjoyable read and I look forward to reading .

I really enjoyed this Although its not the first book in the series, I didn t feel I was missing anything by starting with this which I d downloaded for free Now I want to read the previous books The characters are warm and real The mystery is good with twists in the plot line Solving the case wasn t a real reach as we had been led along the path to it throughout the storyline but it was handled quite nicely.

    13. 15. I liked this book It had characters you liked and some you didn t trust and a wedding to plan When you throw in some dead bodies and the mystery to solve before the big day What could go wrong I will read of Ellen and Dan

    16. Good murder mystery that was easy to read Lots of characters and names to keep track of but it ended with a bit of a twist.
