    1. Audiobook review The author has either really done her research into hospital environments or she works in healthcare, given the accurate description of the sights and sounds of a hospital Since it was a short story not a lot of development into the characters was spent but that didn t detract The shootout though and staff packing guns at work was unexpected but well written My only disappointment was the less than natural telling of the story The unnatural pauses and slight prolonging of words [...]

    2. This was one of those books, Intense The Friday night knife and gun club covers the story of the nurses in the TICU of the High Plains Trauma and Medical Center, who on a cold Friday night was challenged beyond medicine and nursing when a gunmen slain everybody in sight from new born babies up to doctors and nurses And how he was apprehended by a male nurse in the TICU using a fire extinguisher and a syringe filled with some substance putting the gunman to sleep It made for intense reading as th [...]

    3. A well written short story The author creates a realistic gritty environment, that although you wonder if you want to be hanging out where doctors and nurses have to carry weapons to do their jobs, the story telling and character development pulls you in and keeps you there because you need to see how it all turns out A very enjoyable read, and I look forward to from the author.

    4. Well this is a feisty little number a pistol packing nurse s night duty is dramatically interrupted when an intruder is detected Great atmosphere and a good deal of technical background make it a spellbinding read, although not for those of a sensitive nature The cover art, which is worth the purchase price alone, sums up the mood of the story perfectly Recommended.
